Feb 26 (Fri), Jan 15th of lunar calendar, which is Lantern Festival (元宵節Yuánxiāojié) in 2021. It is also an important holiday in Taiwan, in tradition, it is known as the end of Lunar New Year.
In celebration of Lantern Festival, there are many things we could do, such as Appreciating fancy lanterns (賞花燈 Shǎng huādēng), Flying the sky lantern 放天燈 (Fàng tiāndēng), Setting off Yanshui beehive firecrackers (鹽水蜂炮 Yánshuǐ fēngpào), and Guessing the riddles written on the lanterns (猜燈謎 Cāi dēngmí).
In this video, I am going to show you 30 riddles, and you are encouraged to figure out the answers.
